Plutus clients often manage more than one account, such as an individual account alongside a Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, trust or LLC. On Plutus, you can manage multiple accounts from your single Plutus login.

How to link an additional, existing IBKR account
If you already have another IBKR account, follow our guide to linking an existing IBKR account. From there we can proceed with onboarding and then make both accounts accessible from your current login. We'll be in touch shortly once we receive your linkage request!
How to open an additional, new IBKR account
Important Information on opening a new, additional account with Plutus
Use the same email address as your existing IBKR account. This lets us link the new account to your current Plutus profile.
Use the Plutus signup link below. Applications started directly on the IBKR website won't be connected to Plutus.
Pick your account type carefully. IBKR won't let you go back to the account type page once you start the application.
Step 1: Start a new Application in IBKR using this Plutus Template.
You'll land on IBKR's "Open an Account" page as shown below.
Step 2: Create your login for the new account
Enter the following:
Email Address: the same email you use for your existing IBKR account
Username: a new username for this account
Password: enter it twice to confirm
Country: your country of residence
Then click Create Account.
Step 3: Confirm your email
IBKR will email you a confirmation link. Open it and follow the instructions. The banner at the top of the next page will remind you to do this.
Step 4: Select your account type and legal residence
Open the category that matches your desired account and click Select next to the right type.
Step 5: Start and submit your application
Click Start Application and fill out the IBKR application.
Remember that you can't return to the account type page after this point. If you're unsure which type to choose, please don't hesitate to contact us before opening the additional account.
What happens next?
Once you submit your application to IBKR, it appears on our end. The Plutus team will then help you with the remaining steps to launch your new account. When setup is complete, you can manage all of your accounts from your single Plutus login. That makes it easy to manage multiple individual, retirement, trust and business accounts in one place.
