Investible Products

Updated this week

On Plutus, you can filter Portfolios and Baskets based on whether they are currently Investible. This status ensures that any strategy you align with meets specific operational and risk standards.

What determines if a product is Investible?

Several factors impact whether a Portfolio or Basket is enabled for investing:

  • Provider Choice: The provider has opted to keep the product in a view only status.

  • Composition: The strategy has too few positions or an excessively high cash balance.

  • Short Positions: These are allowed in Portfolios, but restricted in Baskets.

  • Risk Limits: The strategy exceeds net exposure or leverage thresholds.

  • Stale Research: The model has not been updated recently.

  • Other Factors: Plutus reserves the right to restrict a product for any other reason deemed necessary to protect client interests or maintain platform integrity.

Our Standards

Plutus aims to encourage a diverse and extensive selection of products while maintaining a high standard of quality across the platform. To this end, we make products investible or uninvestible at our discretion based on what we believe is best for our clients

Finding Investible Products

1. Filter Discover Section: You can quickly narrow down your options by using the Investible All/Yes/No toggle in the Discover section.

2. Investible Badge: When viewing a specific strategy, look for the Investible status flag. This indicates the product is available to be added to your strategy.
